So who's doing the cooking?

What's a ribfest without a bit of friendly rivalry? The Rotary Club of Cobourg is pleased to welcome some of North America's best ribbers to town on August 19th to 21st, 2011.

These people have travelled across North America competing for the "best ribber" award at festivals, fairs and competitions.

First on our list is the legendary Billy Bones BBQ. Billy Bones also offers a great variety of barbeque sauces, rubs and hot sauce.

  • Fort Erie's own Silver Bullet BBQ is another award winner that most other ribbers envy.

Bone Daddy BBQ is another ribber with a selection of his own special barbeque sauce that you can take home with you.

  • You haven't tasted ribs until you've tasted Boss Hog's special BBQ. The Boss was the 2008 People's Choice winner!

Bibbs has won more than 40 major Ribfest awards... and they're from Toronto!

  • Rounding out the ribber lineup is Uncle Sam's BBQ! In 2008 the media chose Uncle Sam as Best Sauce and Best Ribs.

Along with the ribbers we'll have a wide selection of other food purveyors:

  • Terry's - Soft ice cream, sno-cones, cotton candy
  • Dave's Funnel Cakes
  • Pauline's Fresh Cut Fries - Jumbo hot dogs, burgers, sausages, homemade corn dogs
  • Ontario Corn Roasters - Corn on the cob, sweet potatoes
:: How to get here
• From Highway 401, exit at County Road 45
• Travel south (45 becomes Division Street south of the 401) to King Street
• Turn east (left) on King Street one block to Victoria Park on the south side of King Street
