The attendance numbers are still rolling in but thousands of rib and music lovers descended upon Cobourg's Victoria Park for another Northumberland Ribfest. 

Join us in Cobourg's beautiful Victoria Park August 19th to 21st for the 2011 Northumberland Ribfest. On Friday the ribbin' will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday the fun is from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. and on Sunday you can have fun from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

So You Think You Can BBQ
We have lots of entertainment planned for the whole family. including the third annual So You Think You Can BBQ Contest sponsored by Friendly Fires.

That's right... backyard-grillers will square off on Saturday to show us their stuff. They will have 3.5 hours to grill up the best ribs ever and then their culinary wizardry will be judged by our professional ribbers. In 2010 one lucky gourmet griller won a $500 Bradley Digital Smoker for their efforts, courtesy of Friendly Fires.

Northumberland Ribfest isn't just about ribs. We'll also have a great line-up of entertainers appearing at the historic Victoria Park Band Shell and a children's activity area for the kids and kids at heart.

Our August Ribfest weekend is one of three major fund raising activities the Club undertakes. In February we hold our Annual Sportsman's Night Dinner & Auction and every Canada Day Weekend we host our Rotary Arts & Crafts Festival as part of the Cobourg Waterfront Festival.
